Birdies & Neighbors

We have a few extra roommates on our lawn...

Tony was mowing Friday afternoon and noticed that while we knew one of our trees had a nest in it, the second oak tree also now has a family living there. He could see the actual momma bird, but I couldn't (because I'm short!). I don't know if you can tell, but here they are! You can definitely see the nest in the first tree, but the second tree looks empty in the picture. Now if only I could get them to pay rent...

Friday night we went over to Katy and Grant's house, our neighbors, to have dinner. It was delicious! Later on in the evening we brought Einstein over so he could spend some time with their dog Dixie. We enjoy their company and we're so glad to call them our neighbors.

Today's a trip to the new vet for Einstein. He's not aware that he's getting a shot today. Thank goodness Tony's going too. Tonight we're off to a wedding in downtown Austin. It's busy, busy around here!
